Follow the steps below to learn everything you can about studying aviation and the resulting career path that a degree in aviation can provide.
1. Do your homework—Use the Internet to research aviation as a career, talk to people in the field, and decide whether aviation is the career path for you. The U.S. Department of Labor offers the Occupational Outlook Handbook, which is a good place to begin your research. It includes the nature of the work, working conditions, and salary information.

Take a tour of The Ohio State University Airport and the aviation facilities available to you. View video
2. Visit Ohio State's Department of Aviation—There’s no substitute for the experience of stepping foot on campus and meeting the people who live, learn, and work here. This site is dedicated to helping future Ohio State students and students who want to learn more about the university. Click here to schedule a visit to campus.
